Senior Account Executive

LOCATION: Brentwood/Nashville, TN

OUR SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE SHOULD BE ABLE TO:

  • Serve as the day-to-day account contact and strategy lead for assigned clients
  • Recommend and execute communication strategies to help those clients reach their goals
  • Work in an onsite and hybrid team atmosphere, collaborating and communicating effectively
    with other members of our account teams
  • Take direction, but also have the ability to lead projects from conceptualization to completion
  • Inspire and lead others on the team to meet client deadlines and deliverables
  • Manage multiple projects and work independently, as well as with a team, to complete work correctly
    and efficiently
  • Act as a company ambassador to expand our network of relationships
  • Participate in new business development activity

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of proven communications experience in public relations,
    public affairs, government, education, journalism, political campaigns, or a related field
  • Proven writing and editing skills
  • Experience in media relations (media research and target lists, crafting news releases and bylined articles,
    pitching stories, working with reporters and media outlets)
  • Experience in social media account management, digital marketing, email marketing campaigns,
    and creating content for businesses and/or nonprofits
  • Experience in event planning and execution
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (G-Suite)

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Desire to develop new skills and to quickly learn about a variety of companies and
    nonprofit causes
  • Passion to make a positive impact in the lives of others and for the public good
